At this time of year it is easy to be overwhelemed with what is going on with managing your social presence. Today, I want to cover 3 steps to finding balance in using social media apps.
But first, sorry I have not been back for a while been overwhelmed with travel work and keeping up with educating myself on social media, apps and many of the new items coming down the pike. And now we are in extremely busy time of year and it hard to keep up with everything. Hey, this sounds just like you.
Please take a breath and then read on. How many hours a week are you putting into your social media marketing? Five to six hours should be enough to keep you going and up to speed. Block out time to begin to craft your strategy for what you want to accomplish with each social media platform.
Now on to 3 steps for finding balance in using social media apps.
- Are you joining every new social platform that is coming out? Take another breath and wait. You do not have to be on every platform. Consider where your clients are sharing their social time and that is where you should be.
- Create a calendar of what you want to promote. Look out at least 3 -4 months and begin sharing information for the spring break. Remember you can use the holiday season for gift buying for spring break.
- Use third party apps like hootsuite to post to different platforms at one time. Although the one caveat is use the Facebook scheduler, right in FB and upload your videos directly to Facebook to hopefully extend your reach on newsfeeds of your fans
Well that is it for now, take a little time for yourself and breath in slowly and enjoy the view.
Till next time, see you on Facebook,
